From the album "The Key to a Happy Life - Disc 1"
Oh marmalade, you're on my bread again
How can you expect me, ever to be true to you?
Just when I wanted you most,
You ran off and left me for some hot looking toast.
When I first saw you alone on the shelf,
You looked so alluring I could not help myself.
Your chunks oh so golden - a gourmet's delight,
How was I to know that your lid, would be screwed on so tight?
Marmalade you can never be nice,
So go spread your illusions on some other slice.
And now I'd rather stay as I am,
With plain but faithful strawberry jam.
